 Doing a lot of TSI and fuel reduction work in predominately lodgepole pine.  I rented an older Husky pole saw and really liked the ease and efficiency that the gas pole saw offers.  Been looking at the 525 models but willing to try stihl.  Partial to husky as I really like the 525 powerhead.  One thing that concerns me is the stored length of the extendable 525 which I believe is 9 feet. Any opinions or insight would be much appreciated

The Stihl telescopic one won't fit in an 8' pickup bed either, without hanging over the tailgate.  Not sure of the length.

That is the only issue I can see.  If the stihl is as long as the husky I will stick with the Swede
