Multiple smileys

When I go to the More Smileys list, select a smiley, click add this image to my post, go back to my post and click insert image I get two smileys

Are we having some kind of two fer event?  :D

It is the result of a very efficient system. :D

It happens when you use the  "insert image code" button at the bottom of the update window and does it for pictures too.  You can delete the second post or, better yet, use CNTRL V to place the picture or smiley in the update window.  Then it will only appear once.  

One of these days the cause will be figured out and some of the efficiency removed.  :D

I thought maybe it was because the code was written by some youngster from California.....

They just wanted to be totally, totally, for sure, for sure......
