Saw this in the news today.  Company buys a new barge and tug to increase their log hauling capacity.

This has been going on in maine for years, E.J Carrier has been doing it on moosehead lake and Andy Arey had a barge off the coast. Guess it works!
2013 westernstar tri-axle with 2015 rotobec elite 80 loader!Sold 2000 westernstar tractor with stairs air ride trailer and a 1985 huskybrute 175 T/L loader!

I know they used to have 2 tugboats on Moosehead Lake, do they still load barges with logs ?

The only thing I found in a search was a Utube of a loaded trailer-truck going onto a single truck barge on Moosehead in 2013. Yes, an EJ Carrier truck.
