Darn cant it make it this year, due to grandsons grad pig roast here in NY.
Every other year makes me 85 getting close to 86 in 2023.
Not sure about driving that far at that age but we will see.
Linda is 9 yrs younger and a great driver altho a little slower than me, so we will pencil it in.

Today I start my vacation that will ultimately bring me to the roast. Woohoo! Going to Branson with the family before then.

Sadly, the Sheepkeepers will not be attending this year. We were really hoping that the border would open up in time for us to come but it's not to be and we now have other plans. We will be having a family gathering where we will be able to hug for the first time our new (as of July 2020) daughter-in-law. We'll miss seeing everyone but we'll catch y'all next time. Stay safe everyone.

US Government says Border Between Canada and (get this) Mexico will not reopen before September 21
So Maybe next years Pig Roast

Well color me confused but did the CA govt say they were opening the border to tourism on 8/9? (the Monday after the P/R).

Hi folks,

Gotta un-rsvp.
The Admiral informed us that we have a problem Houston!
We can not miss that 4yold's Bday on the 7th in NC.
Can't do it all, need to be there for the step-grankids.

Oso Bear n I are bummed.
We'd rather have some pork than too sweet Bday cake.

Hope we're all able to do it again in 2023.
We look forward to the reports and Photos.
A bit of video/sound would be swell too.
