Thought I'd share some pictures of this sweet 1984 one-owner 056 AV with a 28" b&c.

It's been in the shop for a week or so; unfortunately it has a bad Bosch ignition coil. Still a beauty and runs awesome until it gets hot.

I wanted an AV back then, looking at it now it still looks like a rough ride. And I now have white finger below about 50. They are nice but nicer now.

She is a handful, more saw than I want to lug around all day. Everything is metal; It's no wonder its heavy! :D

Heavy old beast with lots of torque but vibration was bad even with the AV, they required a lot of maintenance. We sold a lot of them with 29" bars and .404 chain, I was kept busy in the shop.

I have the same saw, same condition, same problem......lol.
Well, close to the same problem, mine won't run at all, zero spark.

Does your saw have a Bosch ignition module or a SEM one?
