ripping chain drive link

I am going to purchase ripping chain for my Sihl chain saw 30" bar, but I do not know how many drive link on that chain. The one I am using right know is standard chain which is  3/8 x 063.

And what brand I should get, because the one I am using will not slice a log even.

Look at the bar, the chain size, pitch and gauge is marked on it. Or count the links on your existing chain.

Stihl says 97 links, if you are running a Stihl bar.
