Hi,

I was asking myself, how is it to replace the spark plug on this chainsaw (see image):

Will I need to remove five bolts in order to just replace the spark plug (don't get disturbed by the fact that currently the spark plug is not present)? The chainsaw is 30+ yrs old

It was hard to see plug wire but I am guessing it is in rear behind cage? Try removing the bolts you where showing should not be a big deal. Also you can service anything in area when it is off and will get you familiar with saw.

All done. Only two bolts was needed to access the spark plug.
