Banned from Site permanently on Iphone Log in?

I am trying to log in from my Iphone as I've done before frequently. For some reason I get the message that I've been permanently banned from the site and the page is redirected to a Steve Pavalina page.

I still can log in on my Hp laptop as I am doing now.

I flew to Dallas Sunday which is the only change I know of that could affect this.

I will try to delete my saved bookmarks and restart the phone but I don't understand why it would work on the laptop but not the phone.

Any ideas on solving the issue appreciated.

Try clearing your cache. There is nothing in your profile that is banning you.

I'd bet you misspelled something in the web address and went to somewhere else. Try typing it in again.

I see the ban in the ban log because of the use of a previously banned I.P. address out of Dallas.

Would clearing his cache fix that?

Not logging in on that i.p. would fix it. Clearing the cache, restarting always a good step.

I'm sure he's probably figured it out by now, but sometimes people use vpn services for spamming and other nefarious activities. Those ip's eventually get banned. Once sites start banning the ip everyone who who happens to use that vpn and grabs the same ip are banned on those sites. Turning off your vpn if you are on a safe connection would be an easy test for this problem. You'll grab a different ip and probably be able to log in.

I am getting the exact same thing on my iPhone but it works fine on my computer. It says my account has been permanently banned and then I'm immediately redirected to some weird webpage on privacy.

It worked to clear my cache and then I logged back in, thanks!

Any time you guys get aban notice and you know you are not banned, you should be concerned what is going on your device unless you really were in China, iran or somewhere an I.P. has been banned. It means you tried to access the forum via a banned i.p. and if you did that, you have some nasties living in there.
