We owe you $5 dollars. I didn't have the shipping configured. It used real time and the post office charged you $10. It was supposed to be product based charges and the shipping should only have been $5 :-\

I had this problem with the software last time I found out. Its dated. If you order more tan one hat, it charges you more shipping. I can't get it to just charge the same thing. Last go around everyone said not to worry about it, so, this time I'll not worry about it. Anyone that wants a rebate on shipping that buys multiple hats, please send me a note after you order, and I'll put it in the box when we ship your hats. That's the easiest way I can find around it with the tools at hand. Sorry. :-\

The subscription stuff is just part of the store software. Lets me spam you if I want. :D The software allows you to send promotions or specials to customers if you want. I don't want and I'm sure you don't either. :D

Come on guys, we encouraged Jeff to order these hats. Least we can do is support him. Sell off a few boards and get that order in. It would be embarrassing to have to go back and pull up the posts of everyone wanting hats.
I ordered 2 so I can keep one for good. I like the idea of the extra $5 as a forum donation. If you guys from WI would get one it would be a good way to identify each other as a forum member when we meet at functions like woodmizer open house or at the logging congress in the fall.

I just ordered a hat, I think, and have a question. The other night I opened an account with the store, does that mean I also opened one with PayPal? It said I already have an account with them (as I was buying as a guest) but I never have or used it, just wondering. If you ever tried to put 2 opposing magnets together you will understand how well I get along with computers.
The store has nothing to do with paypal, other than if you buy something. You don't have to have an account with the store or pay pal either one to buy something from the store.

USPS is very speedy here in Mi. I mailed my check at 11:31 am last Wednesday and my hats arrived @ 3:00 in the afternoon the same day!
As far as I know, any and all checks were received today and all the hats that have been ordered are on their way. Leaving us with still, a boat load of hats.

The grits belong on the plate with the eggs, ham and a pool of red-eye gravy to dip the biscuits in.

Having one of the highest number of boats per capita in Michigan, we tend to use our boats for all sorts of things when the ice is on the lakes. Just a tarp, or flipped upside down and they become an off season mini-storage unit. :)

I just ordererd another one today. I've had my first one about a month and I've taken to wearing it all the time. I love it. It fits my head just right. I think it's the most comfortable hat I've ever had.
I switch mine out with my Detroit Tigers hat, but I think the new forum hat is about the best I've had as well. There is still a pretty good swat left of them.
I wanted to bring this back up. We still have almost 50 hats left from this past order we would like to move out. Buy yourself or a friend one or two for Christmas! We also have just a few Forum cups left. :)

Thank you for my birthday shout-out. No big plans were done today. We went to see a lady we've had a friendship with for the past several years. She's a prior customer that had a dying maple in her back yard I took down several years back. After that, the wife and I went to see the new movie, "Lincoln". I highly recommend seeing it, just not at the theater--WAY too expensive. Now I remember why I haven't seen a movie in a theater in three years. To wrap it up, dinner at home, but the wife is in bed now and not feeling well....I'm in VB until Tuesday, then back to the peace and quiet (and building) up in the mountains at the cabin. :)

It stays on my desk and she grabs it often and hands it to me when she is done with it. :)

Jeff, I've had two of these hats for over a year and I really find them the most comfortable hats I've ever worn. I wear one for work(logging, sawing, working around the farm) and the other for going out and traveling. Now my traveling hat has gone a lot of miles and I wonder if it might be the traveling champ of FF hats. In May it flew with me to Italy (see my post in the travel section)and back....thats about 8000 miles plus another 1000 miles travel within the country, so now that's 9000. Last December it flew with me to North Carolina and back, another 1000 and it took three round trips with me to Penn. at 600 miles each for another 1800. Plus this summer I'll be going to Penn two more times for another 1200 and this fall I'll be flying to San Fransico and back for another 6000 miles. If my math is right that's 19000 miles by November this year. It's a great traveling companion. ;D Cutter
