I love my pinner.  can hardly see the hole and it sets stuff for the glue to dry, and keeps it from shifting with clamps.  they had 4 on clearance at my local Lowes.  they are Bostich the same brand I have.  they were priced 90 bucks down from 150.  this usually means they are changing brands.  My experience has been if you get a person in the department and make an offer, they will take it to clear the shelves.  They may be in clearance in your area.  I do not need another, but may pick up a spare.  I could pick one up for others but the shipping may offset any big savings.  not trying to make a profit, but pass along a deal to anyone interested.

I apreciate the offer.  I use mine for all the things you mentioned.  Mine is a $30 one from Harbor Freight, but it works just fine.  The only real down side of it is that it doesn't have any kind of safety.  Pull the trigger and shoots a pin.  I have shot them across the shop on accident.  My younger son calls it the "chuck it" because thats the sound it makes according to him.

these have a double trigger, i.e. a lever to put under you finger to let the trigger be activated. so it only shoots in the standard hand held position.  if I can get them for 50 buck I thought it would be a heck of a deal, but I do not need 4.  they are handy.

I have one. I use it for model building. If I used it often,  I'd get a Milwaukee M18 cordless.

I checked Lowes here in Branson.  No deal on the pinner, so instead I bought a black friday deal.  20v Dewalt drill with charger and 2 batteries for $100.  I was looking at some new batteries that were also $100, but larger capacity.  I decided the drill was a better value.

I had to do the same thing. Went looking for new batteries, but a new drill with 2 batteries was cheaper.
I do what the little voices in my wife's head tell me to do.
