I noticed one of the nuts is missing off the stud and looks like the stud got sheared off. Could chatter in the deep snow cause this?  Does it just get pounded out?  The head of it is just round, can't really see another way of getting it out.   Also, is this common? Thanks in advance.

yep , I broke a few this winter and bought new ones from the napa dealer , Pretty cheap I felt , studs were $9 a piece and nuts were $3 a piece so I bought a dozen of each

I got it out.  Just started pounding on it, couldnt really see another way if it coming out.  Just wanted to do it right!  Thanks, and yeah the studs and nuts were cheep, I bought extras.
