Last week some natives shot one from the herd, just up the road. The eagles (2) and ravens (probably 20) had the innards all eaten within 24 hrs. The wardens brought a Shepherd tracking dog and 4 wardens had a good old time on over time for 2 days. They should have just stayed home for all the good it done, plus the expense.

These moose were about 1/2 mile away. I had the camera on tripod in the driveway here and zoomed to 28x. The red bushes are along the road I shot the sledding video a couple years back. It's possible there were more than the 7 in that video because I noticed a truck stopped to watch them across the road. I shot video for about 10 minutes.

Been a couple moose lingering in the field up until this recent snow. The snow will be all melted by Monday I think. We had winter for a couple days, now it's spring time. :D
