Short Clip on my one man operation

This is a short youtube clip I made last week. I finally got a decent camera but I am still having some audio issues. I thought it turned out ok. The footage shows me harvesting some timber on a nearby Farm. These trees were given to me by the landowner so he can increase his hay production. I have a lot of work to do on the site and will probably be there cutting on the weekends for the next year or so. The only drawback to this is that the landowner requested I leave the stumps high on the cut. He wanted them left about 3 feet high so he could come behind me with his D9 dozer and push them out of the ground. It is wasting some board footage but there are around 20 veneer quality White Oak trees here so I didn't complain. In addition to that this job will yield Cherry, Walnut ,Ash Red Oak, Persimmon and some ERC that are the biggest I have seen around here in a while. Anyways keep in mind I am a hobbyist. And a big thank you to WDH whom always is there to assist in Tree identification.

Nice! Pretty good editing too. Just need to adjust the music volume down when you are talking.

yes, those Gamma Lids are very handy. I get one for every bucket I pick up at the store.

Nice.
Not trying to tell you what to do, or how to do it, but a hard hat, and chaps would be a real good idea when falling timber. Just my 2 cents after almost 30 years of doing it for a living. ;D
Other than that, I look forward to seeing the next one.

Very nice. What did you use for doing the editing? Yes, a shame you have to cut so high. Have you had the landowner out to see if maybe you can cut a little lower?

You can't argue with free and Hickory especially is "deep rooted" so high stumps will help with the grubbing.

after doing some negotiating I have gotten the land owner to agree to start cutting them at the base.
