Title: My new saw-385xp
Post by: Maineloggerkid on October 01, 2008, 05:45:18 PM
Just bought a 385xp yesterday. I put it through its paces today, and I like it a lot. It's a real animal. I don't mind the weight and the power is a dream. I think that it is my new saw of choice, and would recomend this saw to anyone interested.

Glad you're happy with it. That is always a good thing when you have shelled out those hard earned bucks for something. I have one as well, and like you I like mine. I think it actually handles pretty well for its size and weight. It does pretty good for me on the big oaks I have on my place here in Florida.

Ya, this saw really seems to shine in the hardwood. :)

Sure nice to have a saw with power, you know the type you have to spread your legs so the torque won't tip you over.Frank C.

I don't know if it has that much power ::) I'm a pretty solid guy, so it takes a bit to throw me out of balance.  I am thinking about getting an Alaskan sawmill and ripping chains for it, though.
