Had a guy called needing about 100 box store size 2x4s. This is how I get the job done.
Find a big ole pine tree needs cutting down. I hook a rope and pull with a come along on windy days...safety first ;D

Anyway...this is a typical day for the Dawg! How do you do it?
I was going to say "how can you complete with the box stores", but you should be able to get a premium for that nice clear lumber.
Nice lumber
Nice work! That's pretty much how I do it if I'm sawing from my trees. I prefer to saw other people's trees.
I'm going to be buying my first load of pine this week. Some are similar to that one.
I do it with a sawmill :D

I wish you luck with buying those pines...logger told me one time, you gotta take the good with the bad. Problem is, I need more GOOD than BAD!
Good luck trying to buy clear straight 2x4's at the box store. Nice work!

I'm working with a good friend's son who is a grading contractor. The not so good logs will go through the firewood processor. They will at least pay for themselves.
lawg dawg - how much do you over size your "store bought" size 2x4's
Now how are you going to compete with the twisted, warped, bowed, and knotty 2x4s that the box store sells when you're sawing beautiful lumber like that?! ;) :D
That's some beautiful flooring you turned into 2 x 4's there Dawg. Nice work!!
Those are nice!
Congrats on a job well done. Your setup was superb. 8)

I saw or set the simple set 1/8" over
Nice work
I recently milled 500 linear feet of 1 1/2 X 4's for metal roofing strips. I used your method.
And just like that there gone :o...even in the rain! Also sold them a 12' long live edge oak slab...handy lumber to keep around $$$ ;D

I found these construction tote bags at sLowes to shoot the sawdust into, now I can sell some sawdust instead of dumping it in the woods. Works perfect 8)

If it is oak sawdust, the mushroom farmers will want it.

Thanks WDH , now tell me how to sell it! ;D
You could do some research to find if there are mushroom growers in your area.
