Norwood moulder blades

  I just ordered a norwood moulder. They only offer blades to tongue and groove down to 6 in width. Has anyone experience with using this width to work on 4 inch beams.? Could I cut the blades down in width or will I need custom cutters. When they arrive I may have a better idea but wanted other input.
