For New Brunswickers, a permit for wreath tips and branch material is required to harvest from crown lands.

For a family Christmas tree, NB residents must seek a permit from a district office of the Department of Energy and Resource Development, and indicate where they want to cut the tree off crown lands, before permit approval.
