Was recently contacted by the widow of a neighbor, wanting to sell his planer. She is pretty well taking care of herself, :D :D, just want to make sure I give too much. :o

Grizzly G1021, 15", 2 HP. No info on this one on their website. Seems to be in good shape, all of his tools were.

Just wanting to know what would be a fair price.

You won't be happy with 2 HP for any kind of production work.  Value is hard to put a finger on as a lot depends on your location and availability of other machines.

I am assuming it is one of the earlier :"generic" over the top drive units on a 4 poster? Chain drive with maybe a short belt or two? Couple of hundred not more. Fairly common, not so wide, and like stated, under powered.
