Well, not yet but I want to set one. Our old record of 12 members on the forum at one time has lasted since march. I want to propose a date and time where as many of us that can, get on at once.

For that date and time I will provide a little interface where you can see who is on and where they are at and what they are doing on the forum. This will also give our server repairs a test to see if th server RAM is adequate, or if I need to think about buying more.

How about this Monday Evening at 9:00 EST?

Charlie,

I've got some really bad news---------if you are on daylight savings time,  that would be 9:00.

Why didn't Jeff just say 9:00 instead of causing all of this confusion and rivalry??

We will meet just after Anitique show on the road gets over on the Mt. Pleasant Michigan PBS T.V. channel airs.

Its the day that us non retired folks that work for somebody else hate. Saturday it the day before the day we start thinking about the dreaded day, and Sunday is distinguished (other then Morning and evening service for some) as the day spent worrying about the dreaded Monday.

Does it sound like I need a change?

This is July, isn't it? :-/

CHARLIE

I think I'm beginning to start to figure this out.  When you say 9pm, you really mean 8pm or in Frank's case 6pm. I wonder what time 9pm is in New Zealand or Australia or Hawaii or England or uhhhhhhhhhhhhh....DanG, I'm losing it again.... ???   I'm sure glad I have the weekend to ponder on this problem. ::)

Science isn't meant to be trusted it's to be tested

Tom

Ok Charlie,  Here's what we're going to do. :P  We're going to use Zulu time (that's what time it is in Greenwich, England).  That way there will be less confusion. :-/   The Government uses Zulu and you know how organized it is. ::)  Look at the chart below and determine whether you are on a "savings time"  (that's the clock that the chickens and retired folks don't know about). ;D  When you have found the column that designates your political clock then scan down its length until you reach 0200.  That's Zulu in twenty-four hour clock time (which is the best time) and represents 2100 Eastern Savings Time which is the twenty-four hour clock for nine PM, which is the same thing in 12 hour clock time.    Now, when you find the 0200 in your column, scan to the left and read your comparable twelve hour clock time in the first column.  Don't tell your chickens though, or they will get confused.
Did you know that there is no such thing as 12:30 on a 12 hour clock even though everybody uses it? :P  At 12:00 the time is also 00:00 ,which is an invalid time, because you can't have nothing o'clock.  the first valid time after 12:00 would be the first real digit incurred in the fraction of the division of the hour with which you were working.  One minute after midnight is 00:01 (am if a 12 hour clock) and one minute after noon is 00:01 pm on a twelve hour clock or 1201 on a twenty-four hour clock.   Now that you are un-confused,  I think we were going to meet at 0200 Zulu.  That may be 8pm or 2000 (twenty hundred hours) your time........or not, depending on your Governor. :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

Bro. Noble

Tom,

Thanks,  I think I have it figured out now.

There is one problem------------I think I fell asleep waiting for it to be 2: 00 AMCST to change my clock to CDT, but now I don't remember.

Jeff,

Do you think I would be wasting my time with this if my TV worked??  I guess I'll just get on when I get done milking and stay on till my wife tells me to go to bed.

Which reminds me Don,  I discussed the V pills with my wife and she said I don't need them.  She has me scheduled for every tuesday starting the second Tuesday of next week.

Seriously Gordon, this is an important admin tool. My version gives even more info. Tom and I were tracking someone earlier today that registered and then started viewing profiles one by one. I think he was after email address's. We were able to head him off, delete his registration then use his I.P. number to ban him from ever getting back on the server.

We usead a wild card on his I.P. number that probably banned 20,000 other yugoslavians too, but oh well ;D
