Is red cedar ever replanted in BC?

Forestry noob just wondering about species of trees replanted in BC. Is red cedar ever replanted in areas where red cedar is harvested?

It must be as I see PRT occasionally has surplus seedlings for sale, sometimes even from inland sources.

Before I moved south 20 years ago, it wasn't as a rule since there was enough already on the site logged that they let nature take its coarse. Now with new regulations, who knows.
