Any significant difference between it & Stihl?  Walmart here has it for $8.49 a gal as opposed to my Stihl dealers $13 and change per gal.

I still have some left over from a few years back. Walmart had it for 2 bucks cheaper for a while. This was a thick summer grade so only use it in the summer. I don't notice a difference. I buy TSC brand on sale. I think just about $8.

Bar oil isn't rocket science. It's basically ~40w oil with some added goop to make it extra sticky, so it stays on the bar longer.

So the cheaper stuff is probably just as good.
