I am looking at buying a bunk (32 in this case) of 6" x 6" x 16' treated doug fir.
These were treated about two months ago and have been stored outside in covered bunks.

It looks like it is a great buy.  I am just trying to get a ballpark figure of what the bunk would weigh.

Thanks!

Use the tool box to get you in the neighborhood for the lumber.
then an educated guess on the treatment weight.

I would put it at a little over three ton this time of year

I would estimate 150 pounds per 6x6x16, but there are a lot of variables.  I assumed 5-1/2" actual.  If a full 6.0", add a bit.  I assumed the treatment was on the outer 2".
