TH onan 24 no spark?

hello im new here have a ? have a onan 24 gas not getting any spark put a new coil on today still no spark could it be something with the fly wheel did have it a part over the past summer here and clean the fly wheel all up had truble with it charging the battrey up still wasen charging wen this happen

Welcome to the forum.
Could your problem be switch related, maybe the oil sensor switch if there's one on there?

I had that trouble with a Kohler.
Pull the lead off the oil sensor and it starts right up.

the ground wire to the coil is something to be checked also. I had to replace mine at one point . It was causing the same symptem .. no spark .   ;)
