Title: Should I apply for LTO under my name or my LLC?

Hey all, my name is Cedar first time posting. I just completed my LTO Limited Type B training and and ready to apply for license. My dad does backyard Firewood sales so my interests are helping him and doing light defensible space for customers. I'm considering doing an LLC for legal liability. Should I put the liscence in the DBA LLC name for more safeguard? The sentiment during the training was better to put in my own name but didn't hear any good reason. Thanks!

If the LLC runs into trouble, shuts down or you sell it, you won't have your own license.  I would think that most companies are Type A operations.
