Mark E. Rey, an SAF Fellow, has been nominated to be Under Secretary of Agriculture for Natural Resources and Environment. If confirmed by the US Senate, Rey will be responsible for the US Department of Agriculture's forestry, conservation, and environmental programs with oversight of the USDA Forest Service and Natural Resources Conservation Service.
