Skidsteer tracks

I do some select logging on my 40 and use a skidsteer quite a bit for loading and some skidding. I also use it in winter with a snow plow.
I'd like to get some over-the-tire tracks for it

HAS anyone used the kind that are basicly steel bars bent in a "U" shape and connected with chain?
I'm especialy curious how they work in the snow.
