Wellington today.

Background, the Zephyrometer was a kinetic sculpture with a large fibreglass pole that waved around in the wind. Wellington gets plenty.

What is a zephryometer?

It's (was) a big fibreglass sculpture. Kinda cool because it moved around in the wind, of which Wellington has a lot. :D

It was mostly paid for by a local power company.

They ran an advert yesterday that went along the lines of

Meridian renewable energy strategy.
Hydro power - Check
Wind power  - Check
Lightning  - X, Needs more development.
