I got some real good ideas on the drying forum about chip bins, but was wondering what people are using for blower motors. We have an older Delta Rockwell planer and at some point will probably add a larger planer/moulder. Is there any reason why a 3-5 hp single phase motor would not work using 6" piping. The longest run would be about 50 feet. Our climate is pretty mild so the loss of heat in the building during the winter time will not be a huge issue. Any help will be appreciated. Mike
