  Why is it that a thousand board feet of lumber or logs is abreviated to Mbf.... and not Tbf.... ???  An inquirering mind would like to have an xplanatiune...Sometimes I get stuck scratching my head over small insignificant little things, this is one of them .

I know that the M in the Roman numbers is 1000.  So, how does "K" fit in.  We didn't have a Y2M scare, we had a Y2K scare.

K is for Kilo which is 1000 hence kilometer 1000 meters in the metric system.

So remember wear your toga to tally lumber... 8)

'bout them there skeeter bites.....take a Bounce dryer sheet, rub it all over your skin.....then leave it hangin' out your back pocket......a skeeter won't getcha then.....have used them for last couple of years.....love 'em!! They usually love to bite me, too.....I swear they'll fly past ten people to get a bite o' me!! No more!!! :D 8)

I don't mind the skeeters as much as those teeth with wings ( aka blackflies ) at least the skeeters are relatively slow...
