During a tour of my new living enviroment in Tx. I came upon a pawn shop. Inside I looked about and found a Husky 55 Rancher. It had great compression but the bar had seen better days, same for the chain. It had mix and oil in it. The man behind the counter took the saw outside and pulled and pulled. I took it from his hand and 3 pulls later it roared into existance. The throttle responce was great. The oiler was working and it idled just fine. Is this saw worth $100. Is their something else that I should check? If I buy it I will replace the gas filter bar and chain. Any suggestions? Ken in Texas

Sounds good. That is one tough saw. Change the probably badly worn sprocket too.
