Title: timberjack 208
Post by: Jwinter on April 26, 2004, 04:39:12 PM
I was wondering what is the difference between a straight tj208 and a 208E or super E also are there any bad p[oints to these machines.  I was thinking about a JD 540B I think parts would be more expensive and the machine would be more complex (powershift)  Any thoughts?

Don't know about TJs, but if you decide on a 540, I have a friend who has one for sale.

Rob, I'm definently going on Fri. Maybe Sat too.
I think Jon Jon has come down on the price on the 540 B, Its mostly rebuilt, and ready to go to the woods. He was asking $18,000. but I was told it would go for a lot less.
