1985 3.3 craftsman

Just picked up this old girl and got it running good, but dies after warm up. I suspect the coil, part number 530039128, and poulan 2800 appears to use same coil. I cant find one. Is there a newer one that can be used instead? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
