special cake

The wife and I just celebrated 50 years together. the kids all got together and pitched a whopper of a party. this grooms cake was the hit of the party. Made by my daughter, there's a house, a sawmill, log truck, piles of logs, stacks of lumber, and trees. The dirt road was brown sugar. Yeah, the cake part was pretty good.

First let me say, "CONGRATULATIONS!" 50 years of wedded bliss is something to be very proud of, a real honorable accomplishment!

I love the cake, Burlkraft has a legitimate question...is the cake chocolate or white! It is fun to decorate cakes, I enjoy it a great deal. I am doing a "John Deere tractor" cake for my grandson's second birthday coming up soon. He loves Grampa's green tractor!

This'un was all chocolate. there was another one all white with fancy flowers..I'm still eating cake nearly a week later...
