tension on Kasco bands
« on: December 13, 2020, 09:32:16 AM »
I have a Cooks MP32 with no gauge but a compression spring for tension. I want to use the caliper method for setting/checking tension but need to know what the reading should be. I am using Kasco bands 0.045" thick, 4, 1.25" wide. Thanks.

.0035"-.004" using a 6" caliper opened to  5-1/2" +/-

Should give you approx 20,000-21,500 lbs/strain on the blade

Hope this helps ya out
