I am replacing the de-barker blades on my TK2200. The three blades that were on it were very thin. I was never happy with the width and depth of the cut. Two were mounted in the cutting position, and the center one was backwards.

They are 7 1/4" blades. Any recommendation on what blades to try?

I have a Woodmizer debarker blade that has carbide teeth that are about 1/2 inch wide. They are tough but I ground about a15 degree angle on the teeth with my diamond sharpener wheel. On smaller logs the wide teeth weren't doing the job properly as the clean line was below the cut line. 15 degrease cured that for the most part

WM offers two different width debarker blades; ¼" & ½" but I have no idea whether they would fit the arbor on a TK.

My usual tendency is to use what the manufacturer used.  Dance with the one that brought you.  (old saying)
