what 3" x 6" clear Douglas Fir is worth, a boad foot?

Well I don't have doug fir around me but as in any thing clear lumber in a heavy dimension depending on how long and how much is needed all plays into the cost.

What is your ring count per inch? Is it quartered? Kiln-dried. LW

Les than an !/8" on the ring count and it is not kiln dried; fresh from the log.  It is going to be used for subdecking on a lowboy, trackhoe trailer. 

I decided on $975 a thousand.
