I do what the little voices in my wife's head tell me to do.

I went through the news archives of the daily I saw it in but still can't locate it.
old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm

Ok, thanks.
Where did this take place?

He was clearing some trees on private land in a remote area near Jervis Inlet on B.C.'s coast. Fortunately for him, there was cell service available.

Heard in the Michigan news today of 1 man killed while falling a tree in on location and then another killed and one seriously injured while falling a tree in another location. The two were working together in the second incident.

It sounded like they were all neophytes doing some "tree work" on their week-end property.

Several weeks ago in one of our neighboring towns, city workers were at a park cutting down a tree they had chained to a bucket on the backhoe when "...something went terribly wrong...".

The man's brother is our towns' fire marshall whom I know in a professional capacity only. There are 3 or 4 different stories circulating about what actually happened but since I do not know for sure which one, if any,are accurate I will not repeat any of them.

What is known is that the tree fell in an "unexpected direction" and fell right on top of Mr. Caylor. It seems he was not out of range of the tree and that the workers did not take necessary safetry precautions, obviously.
