Retirement that is!  8) We both retired on 8/31/11 and it's the best job I ever had although I'm so busy sometimes I have to hire someone to help me be retired. We went to Texas Roadhouse for some steaks.

Congrats! I'm looking forward to my first anniversary of being retired. Only another 6 or 8 or 10 years.

Congrats. Sep 01 2017 I took early retirement from my town job { health issues} and came home to the farm. Don't miss the rat race of the maintenance work and being on call. I have plenty of work on the farm to keep me busy.
