Title: NEW LUCAS MILL OWNER IN MOZAMBIQUE!

Hello guys! I'm for Mozambique, Africa, and i own a 8-30 Lucas Mill. just started working on some eucalytpus and pine logs for a couple of months now... appreciate if you can give us a little of your experience on working with such mill. average cutting rate per day, fuel consumption etc..... thanks

I think all the numbers you are looking for will be specific to your wood. Good choice in a versatile mill !

Here we use the metric measures....

so im working with 3 meters long Eucalyptus, a daily average of 150 boards with measures 0.20m x 0.025m x 3.00m.
Also, a Fuel average of 20Lts per cubic meter ( 1 cbm = 66.66 boards)
