Not to interfere, but that is a while, and if things are not getting better, you are probably due for a repeat mri.  Herniation can get better or worse, and it could be a different space.  only important if you are getting an intervention like a discectomy or epidural.

I want a current MRI but I don't want physical therapy . . I just have been procrastinating and now need to take action . . yesterday was a very bad day

Sorry it got bad again Red, mine is pretty sore right now but I think it is because I need a knew knee and my mechanics are messed up.

PT is what helps the most. An MRI is only going to tell you what is wrong. 
PT will help YOU fix it.

Today no Back Pain at all . . and I wish I knew why ? 
I haven't done anything different recently just my regular routine but I woke up one day last week and I realized no Back Pain 
My back has gone out several times since last July and it is always very painful. . it's just amazing after 20 years of chronic back pain to be pain free
