I'm sad to report that Nathan Fether, of Fether Hardwoods was killed in a logging accident the first part of the month. Although Nathan had not logged on in a few years, he maintained a website hosted here that I built for him ans supported the forum through that hosting.

So young. So sad.

Way to young. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

That's incredibly sad.  Prayers for him and his family.  It's also tough on them when an experienced person has an accident and they don't know exactly what happened.

The one guy summed it up, "if it can happen to him, it can happen to anybody". Sad but true. No matter how careful we are, it can happen.
Sad to hear this. I remember his posts.

Thats very sad and also pretty close to home. We all have to remember to be on high alert all the time when doing the things we love. It only takes a second..... Thoughts and prayers to his friends and family. Thank you Jeff for the info and the reminder.
Opportunity is missed by most because it shows up wearing bib overalls and looks like work.
