I'm new to the forum and the industry. I live in central Texas and have build a kiln for drying. The kiln is about 12'x17'x8' insulated and double walled, with fans in place. I have ectricity run to the kiln and now I'm trying to figure out the best most economic to heat and dehumidify the kiln. What recommendations do you have for me?

If you don't have a scrap wood source you could use for heat, Mini Split heat pumps are efficient, and not too expensive if you can do the install.
