Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

Looks like chain driven live rollers with a side transfer chain.  That's a great find.

These came from an auction. The business was a huge lumber manufacturer. They closed in 2018.
They had a mill set up but auctioned all that side of the business two years ago but I missed it. These came out of the finish side of the business.

They are only a half hour from me.
I actually bought two because they were too good of a deal to pass.

This one is 36" rolls wide and 18' long it is live with a 8' pop up transfer.

The other one is live also 24" wide and 26' long with an 8' pop up transfer.

I've been planning on building my own and even bought the cyclo to run it.

I got both of these for less than materials would have cost me for way less rolls

Live about 20 min in the other direction . Was wanting to go , looked like an interesting auction . Did everything sell reasonable ? Would have liked one of the straight line rip saws.

Yes it was kitco.
The auction was all over the place.
Some things went dirt cheap. Other things went high. I think the ripsaws were 10-15k

Good score 8)  That is typical for auctions, I have seen items go for more than new and others for less than the price of scrap.
