Meant to add this into that last post...just a little FYI.

If you're using your little point and shoot camera for video do yourself a favor and get one of these handy little rigs...


 

Mini tripod with a strap, this ones from REI but I know there are many different makers.  There were no trees/branches close enough that fit the strap so I just propped up a limb that fit it.  Likely not telling anyone anything they don't already know but I hadn't used it in long time and thought it was worth mentioning. :)

Great job on the tree, now I would consider getting some longer chaps. You are leaving a lot of very vulnerable area exposed.
