Title: Anyone sharpen their own edger/debarker blades
Post by: PAmizerman on September 05, 2019, 11:31:31 PM
Looking to see what my options are and if it would be cost effective to sharpen my own?

I do touch up the debarker with an offset 4" grinder. It will cut the carbide just push hard on it. :D  I can leave it on the mill to do it. The edger I send out. He doses my chipper blades too.

I have a company that comes by and picks up my edger blades and debarker blades. They sharpen or retip both. About $16.00 each.
