Hello I'm an avid wood worker and just bought a 24" chainsaw mill attachment for my chainsaw. Ive cut wood with my family my whole life, I believe it's the best heat you can have! As I am new to milling logs can anyone give me any pointers? So I may avoid as may problems as I can this weekend haha. Thank you

I'm pretty new to the forum but in my short time I've learned that there's an incredibly rich history in older threads. You can probably pick up all you need to know from what's already been said. The search box at the top of the page will pull up all of it, even from the deep dark cobweb-ridden annals of the early forum days.
Some useful search terms would be:
Grandberg
CSM
ripping chain
blood, sweat and tears
Another thing is to use a big power head and perhaps an extra oiler. Ripping is hard work on the saw and you don't want to wear it out prematurely.
