Title: Pallets
Post by: Peter Drouin on April 22, 2016, 06:05:25 AM
I have tried with 1" and 2" with mix results.  When John bumps them, it's not good.

16d will pull out. So I'm going to try ¼x4" lags and 4x4.

I left out the bottom 2x to give more room.. Will see if this will work better.

Also had to replace a cable on John for the clutch to work, all good now.

Maybe you need a smaller John.   ;D  I know,a smaller John would not lift as much.
I know hardwood cost more, but would it hold up better. Too bad you don't have a bunch of metal kicking around. Than John would stop breaking, and start bending.  ;D
