We busted a hose on our Terex 100 skid steer that connected to our Fecon mulching head. We took the hose off and are getting a new one tomorrow. Once we get a new hose, is there anything we should be mindful of in reconnecting it besides topping off the lost hydraulic fluid?

Make sure when tightening it up that the natural curve of the hose is laying where it won't rub/chafe/pinch.

It is always a good idea to wash the NEW hose out before installation.  If the hose maker uses a abrasive cut off saw it is almost mandatory.
