It has struck me more than once that I don't see how a little guy can be successful running a full time milling business if they didn't have really good mechanical and electrical skills.

It seems that on a weekly basis I'm having to troubleshoot some type of problem and either repair it or fabricate a custom solution.Read More

Big thanks to WoodMizer for helping me thru an electrical problem. Before i called i checked all the fuses and had everything open with the meter ready.I suspected a solenoid but was not sure how to test them. Doug walked me thru it in no time. And had 2 on the way in no time.

Well, thought I'd post a quick first impression that will surprise no one. Man I love this beast. I dropped a big SYP (about 36" dia at base) and spent a couple of days milling it. What a great saw. Stepping up from my LT35 HDD, I didn't expect as much "up". So much faster, down the track and back. I really have to watch and stay in tune with the machine. Ran double hard T7's and cut like a dream, until I hit 8 nails in one cut :veryangry:Read More
