Fabbed some knock off EZ Dogs

Was able to cobble these together mostly from scrap I had lying around, with the exception of the nuts and all-thread.  My take on the Peterson EZ Dogs.  

Angle is 2x3".  Other piece is some 3" flat stock.  Used 5/8" all-thread.  Rebar for the handle, and added a nub of rebar to the jam nut so I could get it tight enough by hand.


No judging my welds - I can weld well enough to get to pieces of metal to stick together but it's not always pretty.



 

Tried them out today on a small pecan log that was previously destined for the firewood pile and they worked great.
